Experience Ruston
Over the summer of 2023, I was hired by Experience Ruston as an event planning intern, where I did work promoting and getting ready for the Louisiana Peach Festival and the DYB World Series.
Louisiana Peach Festival
Showcasing the homegrown flavors, art, music, and culture of Ruston, LA, the Annual Louisiana Peach Festival features 12+ hours of live music, a curated arts market, food vendors, kids’ activities, and more peachy fun in the heart of charming Downtown Ruston.
I worked to help organize vendors and local businesses in the downtown district to help make sure everyone was taken care of and accommodated during the event.
DYB World Series
Experience Ruston, alongside the City of Ruston and the Ruston Sports Complex, hosted the Dixie Youth Baseball (DYB) Division I & II World Series from July 26 to August 9, 2023.

I worked in hospitality and event planning for the series. My work included writing a press release to promote it, as well as creating gift packages for the over 300 different competitors
