Hello! I’m in Shreveport now, tidying up the new house and since I’ve had so much luxurious free time, I would pass some some recommendations of media I’ve enjoyed recently

Videos-

Not able to link it but on Netflix is Zach Galifianakis new “A Show about Gardening”. Its hilarious, educational, wholesome, and serene. And with a score by Mac Demarco!

Curious George Carlin- I love binging UCB Characters Welcome sets and this is a recent diamond

Gameoverse: Pilot- a new show created by former Game Grumps Ross O’Donovan. A love letter to cartoon animation and video games. Its wonderful and I hope they get picked up for a full series.

Alton Brown’s Last Meal- I didn’t grow up watching any of Alton Brown’s food network shows, but this interview made me wish I had. A lot of chef personalities are people I really admire bc they seem so full of life and honestly. Brown is no different. Pair him with this show’s genius concept and Chef Josh’s own connection to Brown and I promise you will get something out of this.

Music:

I sent Ore an album the other day and he sent me back one that was much better. So here’s me passing off his recommendation: Train on an Island by Aldous Harding

They’ve got a new album coming out soon, but I can’t ever recommend The Army, The Navy enough. Its just all beautiful stuff. I discovered them through KLSU too so they’re just very special to me. Check out their most recent album, Fruit for Flies

As of writing this, I’ve only listened to parts of this record, but I’ve been really impressed by Broken Social Scene’s newest release. I’m about to go run errands and listen the whole way through. Join me won’t you: Remember the Humans
